Upon graduation, attendees will have sufficient understanding of Catch Wrestling's methods, concepts, and movements to continue independent and successful development as an authentic Catch-As-Catch-Can Wrestling trainer and/or athlete.

Level 1 - Level 1 Audits resemble a two day intensive clinic, covering all the basic positions, rides, tie-ups, transitions, escapes, pins, and submission chains native to Catch Wrestling.

Candidates will be given a written exam and expected to pass a rigorous test of knowledge of the rules, history, and principles of Catch Wrestling.

Level 1 Certifications may be repeated as needed or desired at a reduced cost for each seminar.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for Level 1. Folks of all levels of experience and fitness are allowed. Level 1 combines lectures, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Level 2 - Candidates will be expected to demonstrate and explain the Positions & Rides, Takedowns/Tie-Ups/Transitions, Pinning Combinations, and Submission Chains learned at Level 1.

Also, drills and games to prepare candidates for their Level 3 live Catch Wrestling matches will be introduced and reviewed.

Level 2 Certification allows you to demonstrate and be evaluated on your ability to teach Catch Wrestling concepts and movements exclusively.  As with Level 1, Level 2 certs may be repeated as needed or desired.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Level 1 audit.

Level 3 - Candidates will be tested on their ability to "Put It All Together" and will demonstrate technique and conditioning during exhibition AND competitive CACC rules matches.

Level 3 Certification allows you to demonstrate and be evaluated on your ability to compete, run a club, and train others.

Spaces are limited for level 3, so please submit your request early.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Level 2 audit.

Successful candidates will receive certification via the United States Postal Service approximately one month following the audit.

Scientific Wrestling will videotape and archive all SW Catch Wrestling Audits providing objective, third party validation of the accomplishments / skills required to call oneself a SW Certified Catch Wrestler.

Cost: The cost of certification seminars progressively decreases, regardless of level. Your first cert attendance is $900, your second is $450, and subsequent ones are $225.
